If you're still feeling energetic at the end of the day or simply need a little pampering, our Lilliputs Hotel Leisure Centre is the place to burn those extra calories or wind down for the evening. Located on the first floor, you will find a mini-gym, sauna, steam room and Spa bath. Changing rooms provide lockers and power showers.
Our hotel also boasts an indoor heated swimming pool, which is open from 8.00am until 7.00pm, seven days a week.
If it's outdoor exercise you're looking for, then we can book you onto one of two picturesque 18-hole golf courses, each within 10 miles. For those who are keen on fishing we hold a permit allowing people to fish the local Angling Association waters. These may be borrowed on a daily basis from Reception, but you’ll need a rod licence, which can be purchased locally.
Naturally there are wonderful walks and hill climbs, all accessible from Grasmere and if the weather should turn nasty during any of these activities, we have drying facilities on hand when you return to the hotel. |
