Each year here at the Grasmere Red Lion Hotel tutor Peter Slater, a professional artist gives valuable assistance to a group of budding artists who enjoy a residential painting week.
Whether you’re a beginner or fairly advanced we’re offering you the opportunity to enjoy and gain valuable experience at one of our residential painting weeks.

About Peter Slater
Peter Slater, being self-taught, has a unique understanding of the challenges that working on location can present. He will make you feel at ease and encourage you to adopt a free and spontaneous approach to all subjects encountered on the holiday. Peter has been a finalist in the prestigious Singer and Friedlander / Sunday Times Watercolour Competition / Exhibition in 1999, 2001 and 2005. Peter runs private classes in both drawing and watercolour. |
